We want to help you find the perfect length necklace for your body.
Luna & Rose necklaces come in a variety of lengths from 18 inch to 23 inch. The best part? All of our chains, no matter their length, can be worn 2” shorter with our adjustable loop on every necklace.
For all of our Pendants, you have the option of choosing 18”, 20” or 23” necklace for no extra cost.
To Clarify, our 18” chain necklace is made from our fine chain, and the 20” and 23” length chains made from our 'everyday chain’. These are technically the same ‘curb’ chain design, just slightly heavier in weight for the longer lengths.
We also have a range of adjustable ‘textured’ chains such as our Rope Chain, Washington Paperclip Chain, Pearl Chain, Minimalist Figari Chain (The list goes on…) available in various lengths which you can check out here.
To find the perfect length chain for your body, below is a helpful guide to show you where these chain lengths might sit on your neckline.
(Please note this is a guide only, and length may vary depending on the individual.)
We suggest getting a piece of string or a measuring tape and pop it around the back of your neck to measure exactly where you would like the pendant to sit on your body.
For a rough guide, (as we all have different & equally amazing bodies), the 23” chain sits around or just above your nipple line, and the 16” chain sits at your top collarbone.
WE ARE BIG FANS OF LAYERING NECKLACES & WE'RE PRETTY SURE YOU ARE TOO.
All of our chains are adjustable in length by 2 inches to make sure you can style your layers to perfection and mix them up with other pieces in your jewellery wardrobe.
Although all necklaces are adjustable, for the perfect layered look we suggest that you purchase your necklaces on different length chains. This way you get to see the beauty of both pendants and there's less chance of the pendants scratching against each other. ALTHOUGH, if you do have 2 favourite necklaces the same length, we do have an amazing necklace layering hack that you can check out here….
SHOP NECKLACESRings sizing can be ‘daunting’ however but we are here to help! There are a few different ways to measure your ring size, so pick your preferred method from the below:
OPTION 1. USE A RING YOU ALREADY HAVE
This technique revolves around the inner diameter of a ring that currently fits your finger.
1. Grab your Ring
2. Grab a Ruler
3. Place the ruler on a flat surface such as a table, desk or benchtop and then place your existing ring on top of it. Measure the inside diameter from one edge to the opposite edge, not including the actual ring.
4. Take the measurement in mm and match it to the 'Inside Diameter' Chart at the end of this. If your measurement is between two sizes, opt for the larger size.
HOT TIP: this is a Great method to secretly get your boyfriend or girlfriends engagement ring size….
OPTION 2: USE A PIECE OF PAPER
Don’t have a ring that fits already? No problem. Embrace the paper strip method for a precise approach measuring the circumference.
1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
2. Wrap the strip (or string) around your ring finger and mark where it overlaps. Make sure it is not too right, keeping in mind that metal rings are not as flexible as a piece of paper.
3. Once marked where the strip overlaps, unwrap the strip from your finger and measure the length from the end to the marked spot.
4. Refer to the 'Inside Circumference' Ring Size Chart below to match your measurement to the ring size. When in doubt, choose the larger size if you're between two sizes.
OPTION 3: USE A RING SIZER APPLICATION
For ultimate precision and convenience, the Ring Sizer application is your go-to if you have a reference ring on hand to measure from.
1. Download the Ring Sizer application from your preferred app store onto your smartphone. we love this Ring Sizer by Jason Withers one as it’s super easy to use. (Its a Blue icon with JW on it)
2. Follow the setup instructions provided by the app.
3. Place your ring over the circle on the screen.
4. Utilize the slider on the screen to fit your internal diameter of your ring. It’s important you are referencing the INSIDE measurement, not the outside of your ring to get the correct fit.
5. Use the reference table provided by the application to understand your correct ring size based on your measurement of the ring you used.
OPTION 4: VISIT YOUR LOCAL JEWELER
If you are still unsure, next time you are walking past your local jewellery, pop in and ask if you can please have your finger measured. They will have a set of basic metal rings for you to try on & find your perfect fit. Key information for living your best Ring bling life for many ears ahead!
