4 Unique Hawaiian Air Bnb Hotspots for under $200

Hawaii has been on my travel hot list for a while now. And while I patiently wait until the time is right to pop my Hawaiian cherry, there's no stopping me researching what my upcoming holiday on the islands might look like. Local Hawaiian babe Casey Evansrecently got the pallet warmed up and excitement flowing for a visit to Oahu. It was after chatting with her that the REAL research began. Here I share with you 4 unique experiences that I have penciled in for my trip to Hawaii, discovered over on my favourite Air Bnb!

DREAMY TROPICAL TREE HOUSE

If a tropical rain forest escape is what you came to Hawaii for then look no further that this beautifully constructed, Bamboo Tree House. Located in amongst the dense Jungle on the Big Island of Hawaii, this unique and purpose built Tree house will have you back with nature and completely switched off from City civilization as soon as you arrive. From a hanging Bed to the 360 degree views through the jungle, this tropical paradise is just what the doctor ordered. Nestled on top of stilts 15 feet up in the canopy of the local flora, enter this rain forest retreat via the trapdoor and let the worries of the world fall at the wayside. With the Volcano National Park 10 miles away, this ones for the nature lovers. I’m in!

HAWAIIAN GINGERBREAD HOUSE

If the fact that Jimmi Hendrix stayed here in the 70’s isn’t enough to make you want to visit this cute little Gingerbread home on Maui then I don’t know what is! Completely refurbished by its current owners with deliciously smelling Cedar, the wooden interior will make you feel like your in a secluded jungle paradise all night long! Located on an organic nursery (And home to MANY fruit orchards), this home is just 20 minutes from the airport and 5 mins from Paia and Haiku townships making for a perfect Hawaiian base on Maui. She’s also positioned 1000 metres above sea level, making for slightly cooler temperatures than down by the coast and a perfect sleeping situation! Maui, I’ll see you soon….

HAWAII VOLCANO VIEW HOUSE

She may not be winning Air b n b of the year because of it’s luxe décor but she will be winning Air bnb of the year due to it’s killer views and indoor / outdoor living! Said best by the host “Come and enjoy an Epic, Unique, and Unforgettable Vacation here in this supercharged, elemental power spot - 3 miles away from the base of the most active Volcano on Earth”. This place is an absolute must stay if you are you’re on The Big Island. Sleeping up to 7 people, its like a camping mission gone glamping hanging out in this large open air loft. The fact that you can sit back and watch live Lava flow from your bed? I think that’s a Hawaiian must do from me!

Oh and did I mention the Geothermal pools in the area, the tide pools for snorkelling just down the road and the Night Markets in local Pahoa? Get booking Chica’s!

NORTH SHORE SURF & YOGI TREE HOUSE
