JEWELLERY CARE
We sleep well at night, comforted by the fact that we produce only the best quality jewellery for our customers made from high-quality purified recycled sterling silver. Every piece of Luna & Rose jewellery is handmade from precious metals and it needs to be looked after carefully by its new owner. (That’s you by the way.)
Please read the Quality and Care instructions below to ensure the longevity of your pieces. Afterall, you wash your clothes on a weekly basis, why wouldn't you do the same for your jewels?

Keep Away from Chemicals
Protect your jewellery from perfumes and harsh chemicals. Always apply perfume before putting on your pieces to avoid damaging the metal’s shine & colour directly.
Avoid Scratches
Store your jewellery in a soft-lined box or pouch to prevent scratches from abrasive surfaces.
Regular Cleaning
Use a professional jewellery cloth to keep your pieces shiny and maintain their colour. We sell some pretty click rick ones over here. Alternatively, you can use a soft cotton cloth or T-Shirt.
Avoid Water Exposure
While our jewellery is perfectly safe to wear in water, we do suggest to ensure the longeveity of your plated pieces to remove them before entering chlorine & salt water as it can dull & damage metals over time. We always suggest to clean the salt / chemical off with a soft cloth after swimming.
Protect During Work
Avoid wearing jewellery while cleaning (Especially if you are using chemicals!) gardening, or doing heavy labour to prevent wear & tear.
Remove Before Washing
While It's not essential, its also a good idea to take off your Rings when washing hands or showering to keep it your rings in top condition.
REAL HUMANS MAKE OUR PIECES
Though we take utmost care when handcrafting your Luna & Rose pieces, we’re not robots. The idea of an unhappy customer keeps us up at night, so we offer a ‘nurture service’ for some of our pieces. If your jewellery has lost some of its sparkly fresh colour, needs to be re-plated or perhaps the seam has just had a couple of unfortunate run-ins with abrasive objects, drop us an email via our contact page and we will see how we can help take you through the steps to get your piece back up and running.
