Meet our first ever Lunacita: Alden Caroline Easter!

What's this all about you say? Well the Lunacita's is our girl gang, a select bunch of rad chica’s doing what they do best and living life to the fullest. Endless adventures and a love for the sunshine and being outdoors, is everything our Lunacita gang is about. Sharing a passion for life, always planning new adventures and not knowing where the next journey will take us – And doing it all in style of course!

Hey Ace (short for Alden Caroline Easter - coolest initials ever!) We’re so stoked to have you on board as one of our first ever Lunacita’s! We’d love to find out a little more about you and your lifestyle to share with our followers. So…let’s skip to it!

Where abouts did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and then moved to Seaside, Florida when I was 13.

What is your favourite memory of your hometown?

From Austin it was going kayaking on the lake as a kid. I loved it! From Seaside my favourite memory was Friday mornings when my friend Isabelle and I would go get waffles at Modica Market. Of course living in Seaside the endless beach days were my favourite too!

Any favourite beaches or lakes that we should know about in that area?! We love waterholes!

Seaside as a long stretch of a beautiful beach with the whitest sand I have ever seen. It is like sugar! It is my favourite place ever. I am a beach addict.

Where do you live at the moment and what bought you there?

I am currently a senior in college at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. It is a small college town in Mississippi and I fell in love with the town when I visited while looking into colleges. I am ready to finish up my degree and go on new adventures though! Hopefully somewhere near the ocean.

Can you tell us a little bit about what you get up to with you Monday – Friday?

I do pilates often so I try to start my day with that, then of course going to class keeps me super busy. I study way more than I wish I did!

And what keeps you busy on the weekends?

Adventures. Whether it is a football game or going on a weekend trip with friends. I always crave doing something new or fun every single weekend. I have major wanderlust.

Where is the coolest place you have ever travelled to and what made it so rad?

Sydney, Australia. I studied abroad for 6 months out in Sydney and I am still so in love with the place. I would do anything to move there one day. It has everything I love. From tons of beautiful beaches and amazing breakfast spots to the huge city surrounding the harbour.

Favourite travel Memory?

My favorite travel memory would be going to the Great Barrier Reef. We spent an entire day out on a boat diving in the Great Barrier Reef and it was one of my biggest bucket list items. It was everything I hoped it would be!

Other than your passport, what 3 items would you never leave home without when heading off on an overseas adventure?

I would never leave without my cameras, my favourite pair of sneakers, and all of my jewelry that I love so much!

Where would you like to travel to in the near future? Whats on the top of your bucket list!?

After graduating I want to spend a year traveling. I really want to go to Greece, Africa, and Indonesia as soon as possible. I really want to explore South Africa and surf there, but I especially want to go dive with great white sharks (my biggest bucket list item!) I also would love to see Iceland and Thailand. I could go on forever with places I want to see soon.

I will either adventure on my own, grab one of my best friends, and then hopefully my brother will be joining me for a few of the trips!
