So, Why even Layer necklaces?

How to Start your Necklace Stack 

Step 1: Your Hero Pendant

So wether you choose St Christopher for your love of travel, St Valentine for love, or Mary Magdalene for strength, the ideal starting point is to start with a meaningful pendant that carries symbolism & connection to you.

For a Hero Pendant, we suggest a 20” chain length however every body is different. To make sure you get the exact length for your body, grab a piece of string and wrap it around your neck to measure where you would like the pendant to sit on your body (Keeping in mind this will be the centre piece & we will layer up & down from there). We’re aiming for mid-length on the collarbone).

This Hero pendant becomes the anchor for everything else you layer around it.

Step 2: Add Texture

Once you have your hero piece, it’s time to introduce a piece with texture or colour to the shorter length.

Step 3 : Play With Length

The secret to effortless layering is variation in chain length.

When necklaces sit too close together, they compete so spacing them slightly apart allows each piece to shine.

2 simple formulas we love to follow:

Necklace Layer 1:
Short layer: gemstone chain or choker
Mid layer: Saint pendant or medallion
Long layer: Fine chain or statement pendant

Necklace Layer 2:
Short layer: Fine Chain with some colour or texture (Around 18”)
Mid layer: Chunkier Chain (Around 20”)
Long layer: Longer Pendant (Around 23”)

Following these basic styling creates a natural cascade that feels balanced and intentional.

Step 4: Keep It Personal
