We caught up with our lunacita Alden Easter and chatted all things Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving day is always full of delicious food, spending time with family, and traditions that have been passed down for years. In my family, we spend Thanksgiving all together and enjoy a relaxing day (usually full of a lot of football too!) I am here to highlight my favorite parts of thanksgiving and tell you how I like to celebrate Turkey day! 

She is the designer of our new Island Store prints, and she did it well. Today let’s have 5 minutes with the talented Lily Windsor Walker. When I first meet Lily, it was on Instagram. I was scrolling and scrolling until I find this beautiful account with a lot of prints pictures. I immediately fell in love with these prints and I was like ‘OMG I want to collaborate with this girl!’ With a lot of project in mind I knew that it would match. And that’s happened!

Through our recent Charity T-Shirt collaboration with Take3 we have come across some pretty inspiring humans out there in the world. One of them is this total babe Alaire Davis. Hailing from Bermuda but on a global mission to help save the world from domination by plastic, Alaire runs the instagram account @plasticfreebabe as a way in which to share her love for the ocean and preach what the horrific effect of plastic is having on our oceans, the fish and environment. She's one clued up lady and we recently sat down with her for 5 and grilled her on the topic. Read on my friends....

I recently found this delicious recipe over on my friends blog 'Ashleigh Jade' and couldn't wait to try them. I'm a sucker for a good bliss ball and these Beetroot versions did not disappoint! Meet our Pal St. Gerard, the patron of expectant mothers! Mr Gerard was born in Italy and lived a short but meaningful life. His prayers today are sought for the children, unborn children, women in childbirth, mothers, expectant mothers & motherhood, hallelujah ladies! (It also helps that this little guy is extremely good looking in all it's round form!)

St Gerard was said to be responsible for a number of miracles throughout his life but his legend lives on for one particular miracle that relates to a woman in labor (Let's be honest... we're all hoping for miracles at that time!)
