How to earn & travel the tropics! An interview with Katri Kats.

We discovered the beautiful Estonian dream-girl Katri a couple of years back where all great friends of this modern age are found, on instagram. Her life in squares looked pretty epic and one that aligns with the La Luna Rose girl perfectly. So, we started chatting and have been pen-pals ever since. Totes cute. Now, time to introduce you to this full-time traveling gypsy & find out how she manages a life of endless travel to beautiful tropical locations!

We fell in love with your instagram as soon as we laid eyes on it a couple of years back! The dreamy exotic locations you get to and pure amount of travel you do - it looks like you live a pretty amazing, globetrotting life! Talk us through what you do.

Me & my boyfriend ( @juhanisarglep) have a video production company and we make all kinds of videos, commercials and event clips.

So basically I’ve been traveling with him for a year now. It all started off when we went to Dominican Republic just for a holiday in April last year. We did a video just for fun and it ended up as a music video, which has almost 40 million views on Youtube now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYoPOJCeJvU

After that we really couldn’t stay in one place anymore and we decided that we need to find a way to travel and do what we do the best, all together.

So we reached out to different hotels and resorts around the world, asking if they needed new visual content and got some positive answers and that’s what we are pretty much doing now. Going around the world making short videos for resorts, so that they can share it on social media and people can get a better overview of the place. What inspired you to go and do what you are currently doing?

Definitely my boyfriend, and an urge to find a place where I would love to settle down one day.

What is your favourite place in the world & why is it so special?

My favorite place so far is Maldives because of the amazing ocean and some good friends we have there. And California, especially San Diego has my heart also.

What is the coolest adventure you have been on in the past 3 years?

We did a month long trip to America, mostly we were in California, but of course we did Las Vegas too. It was my very first time there, and we did a car trip from south Cali to north by the coastline and it was amazing. The views and nature, so different so huge, I was blown away.

Top Travel tip?

If traveling to somewhere warm, definitely put one pair of bikinis in your carry on bag. Cause if your luggage gets lost and won’t make it the same day, at least you can go to the beach or by the pool and still soak up that vitamin D J

Lastly, If we gave you $1000 right now, what would you do with it?!

I would buy a new surfboard.:)
