Meet our Italian Lunacita: Elisa Riva!

Hailing from Northern Italy, this Chica's instagram and endless European adventures will make you want to jump on a plane to Italy before you can yell GELATO! We first discovered Elisa when she jumped into our inbox one hot sunny afternoon and after a few chats, she officially joined our Lunacita's crew. We've been dreaming up a business trip to Italy ever since.... watch this space! For now, meet this creative lady-boss who manages to juggle a life in the creative world and travel around her local countries whenever she gets the chance!

Hey Elisa, Thanks for joining us we're so stoked to have you on board! First things first, where abouts did you grow up?

I was born and raised in a country near Milan called Casatenovo. Although for work reasons and also because I love it I’m searching for a new home in Milan

What is your favourite memory of your hometown?

I love my country because it’s a small town where I know most of my peers with whom I established deep friendships since I was little girl

Any favourite beaches or lakes that we should know about in that area?! We love waterholes!

In my region, Lombardy, in northern Italy, there are many lakes. Among the most beautiful and famous there are the Como Lake and Lecco Lake.

Where do you live at the moment and what bought you there?

I still live in my home but the goal is to move me to Milan next year.

Can you tell us a little bit about what you get up to with you Monday – Friday?

I’m a graphic designer and I work for an Influencer Marketing Agency in Milan. I love my work and my colleagues. In the evening after work I love to go to the gym, go out with my friends or read a book.

And what keeps you busy on the weekends?

During the weekend I love to relax doing what I love most: going out with my fiends, sports, reading books, listening to music, beauty treatments and of course shopping :) 

Where is the coolest place you have ever travelled to and what made it so rad?

One of the nicest places I've visited is Berlin. I loved that city for its structure, lifestyle and the atmosphere that breathes there. I walked around the city by bike and I could live it both day and night and it impressed me positively: full of art, artists, beautiful locations and attractions and gentle inhabitants.

Favourite travel Memory?

All the travels I've done with my friends are the best memories. A laugh made together or even a stupid thing has become important because I did it with them.

Other than your passport, what 3 items would you never leave home without when heading off on an overseas adventure?

My Camera, a good book and my phone.

 Where would you like to travel to in the near future? Whats on the top of your bucket list!?

I wouldn’t want to be discounted but Bali is one of the destinations I would like to visit more. I'm also inspired by Thailand and the Philippines.

And who are you taking with you!?

My best friends, of course!
