ABOUT THIS PIECE
Saint Dymphna is celebrated as the patron Saint of Anxiety & Mental illness… with the wild ride of what the world has just been through of 2020, don’t you think we all need a St Dymphna in our lives?! Her personal story is weird & unexpected, no doubt causing her a lot of anxiety from a young age.
Dymphna was born in Ireland & when she was just 14 years old, her mother died and her father - who had loved his wife deeply - began to suffer a rapid deterioration of his mental stability.
Her father was so unhappy that it was suggested her remarry, although he would only consider someone as beautiful as Dymphna’s mother. After failed attempts to search for a new wife, his evil advisors suggested that he marry his very own daughter, Dymphna, to which he agreed! When Dymphna heard of these suggestions she fled to Belgium where she built a hospital to help care for the sick and poor. Her father eventually found her although she successfully refused his request and continued to live in chastity & helping others.
The strong spirit of St Dymphna and her ability to over come and flourish from anxiety lives on in our St Dymphna pendant, a talisman to hold dear to your heart to help you work through challenging moments and uncertain times.

CLEAN GENTLY
When its time to give your jewellery some TLC, use the complimentary Suade pouch or soft dry cloth to wipe away any dirt or oils. For a deeper clean, use a soft toothbrush & water.

For all of our Pendants, you have the option of choosing 18”, 20” or 23” necklace for no extra cost.
To Clarify, our 18” chain necklace is made from our fine chain, and the 20” and 23” length chains made from our 'everyday chain’. These are technically the same ‘curb’ chain design, just slightly heavier in weight for the longer lengths.
We also have a range of adjustable ‘textured’ chains such as our Rope Chain, Washington Paperclip Chain, Pearl Chain, Minimalist Figari Chain (The list goes on…) available in various lengths which you can check out here.
We suggest getting a piece of string or a measuring tape and pop it around the back of your neck to measure exactly where you would like the pendant to sit on your body. For a rough guide, (as we all have different & equally amazing bodies), the 23” chain sits around or just above your nipple line, and the 16” chain sits at your top collarbone.

All of our chains are adjustable in length by 2 inches to make sure you can style your layers to perfection and mix them up with other pieces in your jewellery wardrobe.

Our jewelry is thoughtfully crafted using sustainable materials and ethical practices, ensuring both beauty and a positive impact on the planet.
DESIGN
Every piece begins with a thoughtful design, often inspired by nature & travel.
Luna & Rose Founder Rosie, spends hours sketching her thoughts & ideas to bring her unique jewelry concepts to life. This is a process that is constantly 'in progress' as she doesnt focus on traditional seasons of fashion.
WAX CARVING
Using traditional wax carving techniques, our talented Wax-smiths carve Rosie's 2D designs into 3D wax forms. This is a fascinating process that can take weeks in itself to perfect the shapes & intricate details of the hand-drawn designs.
Made is our head Wax carver who we have been working with for over 7 years!
SILVERSMITHS
Once the wax form has been finalised & set into a master mould, our skilled Goldsmiths & Silversmiths handcraft each piece with precision, refining & polishing the solid metal to create timeless, high-quality jewelry.
Depending on the style & Metal, our production process is done in Bali & New Zealand.
