But where is the best place to eat you ask? This question has become one of the most commonly asked - both to myself and by friends visiting the island of Bali. To make your job easier, we've decided to narrow down the selection by serving up 10 of our favourite restaurants in Bali from affordable places to an upscale dining experience. Enjoy (and don't drool too much...)
SAHURI HEALING FOOD CAFE, UBUD
Sayuri Healing Food Café serves vegan, plant-based, gluten-free, raw living food incorporating the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Chinese, and macrobiotic perspectives. A tasty food with the goal to energizes and nurtures our body. The menu includes smoothies and cold-pressed juices, all-day breakfast dishes, and daily specials with vegan version. Sayuri also run cooking classes and workshops for those who would like to learn to make wholesome food and body products for themselves
We love: Thursdays Meal of the Day - Raw Mexican Enchilada's...and their Lemon Meringue Tart!

THE SHADY SHACK
If you regularly follow my blog, you know how much I'm a fan of The Shady Shack. Besides, I’ve already introduced you this restaurant in my "Bali best eat" series (you can find it just right here!). This vegetarian hotspot is a very special place with a relaxing ambience. It’s breezy, open and full of greenery. A really peaceful vibe. The Shady Shack offers a vegetarian and vegan menu witch can be suitable for all. Even the meat lovers! Although you wont find any meat on it, it’s still worth the trip.
We love: The Rice Roll ups, The Nori Bowl and the Cacao Smoothie bowl for breakfast - Heaven! Oh and their smashed spuds...Simple but outrageous.

WARUNG NONI, CANGGU
If you are looking for great local food, you couldn’t miss Warung Nonii. An upscale Warung with incredibly good prices and seriously good food. I highly recommend their delicious Nasi Campur dish. Of course, if the Nasi Campur doesn’t grab you, Warung Nonii also offers a wide range of salads, burgers pastas and sandwiches. There are also some grilled options like cheesy chicken, steak or tuna. Not forgetting their special breakfast deal including a fresh juice, coffee or tea, eggs and toast. All of this under 40K!
We love: The Terong (Eggplant dish) and their 50/50 mie goreng / Nasi goreng

ROOM 4 DESSERT, UBUD
Room4desserts take desserts really seriously guys! With that said, if you loved desserts you wouldn’t miss it by spending a sugar and spicy evening in this magical place. Located in the picturesque village of Ubud, away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud, Room4dessert offering sophisticated and refined hand-made desserts. Here desserts come from an idea to use the best product and the best technique to make the best treats, with an ethos and focus on sustainability. To perfect the whole, Room4dessert also offers classic cocktail and rotating fine wines.

ULEKAN, CANGGU
Combining the abundance of flavors from Indonesia to a stylish interior, the Ulekan serving well love traditional dishes, delicious drinks and desserts. A trendy and breezy café styled up with a black and white tile floor, a wide bar and chic rattan lights. As an Indonesian restaurant, The Ulekan menu includes classic dishes like the famous Nasi Campur, Mie Goreng, Sop Buntut or Soto Ayam. If you want to discover more about the Indonesian food, this place is perfect for you.

LA LUCCIOLA, SEMINYAK
No holiday to Seminyak is complete without Sunday brunch at ‘La Luch’. Located next to the Pura Petitenget temple, over a little wooden bridge, this beachfront restaurant is a stunning and special spot to eat. Over the years, La Luciola is almost become an institution to Seminyak restaurants scene by serving outstanding Italian dishes. Tucked in a beautiful double-storey pavilion with a tropical thatched rooftop, La Lucciola offers a chic, cozy and warm ambience suitable for families, but also for couples wanting to enjoy a lovely dinner by the seaside.

METIS RESTAURANT & GALLERY, KEROBOKAN / SEMINYAK
Perfect for a romantic evening, Métis give us both authentic Balinese setting and exquisite French menu in a sophisticated ambience. This French-inspired establishment offers a real sensory dining experience combining a restaurant, a bar lounge and a gallery boutique. Enthusiasts take note! Métis features an exclusive collection of wines from around the world. Foie-gras overs will not be disappointed either. The restaurant also offers a special menu dedicated to the duck liver.

SARONG, SEMINYAK
As one of the finest Seminyak restaurant, Sarong welcomes us in a romantic dining ambiance. Inspired by the South-East Asia flavours, this restaurant serves traditional Asian street food recipes with a combination of Thai and Indian dishes. The menu including everything from crispy pork belly and Thai curry to Tandoori chicken and garlic naan. There’s also a wide selection of cocktails on offer.
We love: Their entire Vegetarian Menu. Oh, and their delicious cocktails!

SAGE CAFE, UBUD
Sage takes vegan cuisine to the next level by offering vibrant and inspired vegan dishes. Their menu is refreshingly different from other places in town, with a mix of Mexican inspired dishes and healthy vegetable bowls. Everything that comes out their kitchen is made with animal-free ingredients. Think-again meat-lovers! Vegan doesn’t mean boring. The food here is pretty vibrant with a choice of colorful smoothie bowls, fresh salads and a few deep-fried dishes.
We Love: Their Buffalo Tempe 'Wings'!
