Nalu Bowls is Bali's first smoothie bowl shack catering to those who crave a sweet & refreshing treat on those balmy Bali days (So basically all of us!). First opening in Jl. Drupadi in Seminyak, Nalu Bowls now has over 4 locations across the more populated tourist areas of Bali – One can never be too far from a Nalu Bowl!
The concept is simple and the product is beyond delicious. Inspired by Hawaii and the culture that revolves around surfing and tropical ingredients, Nalu Bowls is the perfect pre and post surf meal. Selections of frozen fruit, blended together and topped with crunchy, flavoursome toppings. Each Bowl is cleverly named after world-famous and favourite surf breaks around the world adding to the ‘tropical holiday – island - vibes feel of eating here.
A personal favourite of mine is most definitely the Ulluwatu (also conveniently one of my favourite spots on Bali). Frozen Dragon Fruit, Banana, Papaya, Raspberry and Apple Juice, topped with strawberries, mango, coconut flakes & honey..mmmm, my mouth is watering just writing this!
Nalu bowls is definitely one of my top go-to breaky spots in Bali and I would highly recommend a bowl or two on your next visit here. While the Smoothie bowl competition is high here on the island (Especially in Canggu) with nearly every cafe serving up their version, but I'm pretty confident that these guys know what they're doing and how to blend a bowl to perfection!
NALU: HAWAIIAN word for WAVE.
