Plant based dyes for living au naturale
Many moons ago our founder Rosie was in the deep dark depths of Denpasar when she first heard about the possibility of dying apparel with nothing more than plants. Ears were opened, minds were blown and before she knew it, Rosie and Adi, our production house Manager, were developing a unique set of hues for our apparel collection.
Nature’s Pure Colors
For centuries, artisans have harnessed the power of nature to create vibrant, plant-based dyes—breathing life into fabrics with nothing more than leaves, water, and time.
It’s an age-old process, passed down through generations, that couldn’t get any closer to nature if it tried. Three types of leaves, carefully selected by expert hands, are sun-dried, then slowly roasted in large-scale ovens before being ground into fine granules. Once mixed with water, their true essence is revealed, transforming into rich, earthy pigments.
These primary hues are then carefully blended to craft our signature shades: Cinnamon, Macadamia, Sage, Ocean Blue, Ginger, Beet, and Indigo—each one a reflection of the natural world, entirely free from toxins or artificial additives.
By choosing plant-based dyes, we honor tradition while protecting the future—preserving the beauty of our planet, one color at a time.

ZERO WASTE | PURE IMPACT
What’s the best part? Our suppliers' deep respect and commitment to Lady Nature. Their production process generates zero wastewater—every drop is repurposed to nourish neighboring fruit and crop farms. Because everything is 100% natural, nothing goes to waste.
It’s inspiring to witness their growth as more consumers embrace sustainable choices. Every purchase supports not just ethical craftsmanship but also a regenerative system that gives back to the earth.
