YEW! Have you seen the latest collab? We’re so excited to launch these beauties, not only are they practical but extremely good looking! Havn’’t seen them? Click HEREto check out the full collection and below, we’ll chat a few things Gemma!
So, how did this come about you say? Well, I would love to tell you but to be honest, I don’t even know! What I do know is that when you mix two colour-loving creatives with a solid idea to make magic together that great things happen.
Gemma Patford is a Melbourne based designer / maker / creator / rad human who has come to find her place in the world but producing epic lifestyle goods. To be more specific is hard, but to date, her most well-recognised pieces are her beautiful Rope vessels which you can find here.
Since a little girl, Gemma has been surrounded by her creative family that has always inspired her to get crafty and get messy. After an un-fulfilling Science degree, knowing there was something more for her, Gemma headed back to study Garment Construction, Textiles and Pattern making. And well, the rest is history. The creative juices that unleashed began to flow and havn’t stopped since!
Her signature style are these beautiful bowls and rounds that are made from Rope which she either paints herself with watercolour or post production, paints the finished object to create structure and solidity.
When Gemma and I got together a few months ago and knocked heads to create something eclectically rad together, these amazing jewellery holders were what resulted. Over a shared Jewellery-holder frustration, we knew there was something in her rope maneuvering and my jewellery designs to inspire and create.
This handcrafted beautiful jigsaw pieces of art for your wall, are made with just enough loops, turns, slants, holes and colour to drape all your earrings, necklaces and bracelets that your heart desires. Endless we say. Can't quite give up that dusty brown bowl yet? We get it... And that's when we say just slap this beautiful piece on your wall as a piece of art instead! It's a guarantee eye-stopper & conversation starter for years to come...
More of a ring lady yourself? Don't worry, we also designed jewellery bowls and you can check them out here (also pictured below).
The best thing about this range? Each and every piece from this limited edition collection is a one-off - never to be repeated! You can shop the entire collection by clicking here.

Nothing quite beats a delicious Soba Noodle Salad. They're often rare to find out and about but when you find one, with the perfect dressing - Oooh wee it's a jolly good feeling, one you want to bottle up & come back to meal after meal.
