Besides fashion and jewellery, we’re also big fan of beauty here at Luna & Rose! There’s nothing better than a good pamper session to refresh and feel better after a long week. To fully enjoy this part of our routine, it’s essential for us to use products that will not only be good for us, but also the planet. Here’s a roundup of some of our favourite sustainable beauty brands we have discovered to date...
- Axiology is a brand making the most ethical lipstick around: with 10 ingredients or less, it’s vegan, cruelty free and now zero waste… We really can’t ask for more!
- Sienna for natural and non-toxic nail polishes: they make the most beautiful colours, while being good for your health and nails. Usual products have a direct negative impact on our health because of the chemicals they contain, while these are completely safe!
- Beauty Care Naturals does beauty AND skincare. Their products are made with “safe, beneficial ingredients” and everything from their boxes to their tape down to their containers is made from either recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.
- Fat and the Moon makes herbal selfcare freshly made to order! They also teach you how to use the ingredients already in your kitchen to make your own products, how inspiring is that?! Their product are very diverse, we’re 100% sure you’ll find what you need there.
- Eco Minerals Cosmetics makes pure cosmetics ethically sourced and handmade in beautiful Byron Bay.Most importantly they offer a refillable packaging! We also love how easy it is to find your colour match on their website.

Nothing quite beats a delicious Soba Noodle Salad. They're often rare to find out and about but when you find one, with the perfect dressing - Oooh wee it's a jolly good feeling, one you want to bottle up & come back to meal after meal. And so with the emphasis on food & sharing around Christmas, I wanted to do exactly that.
