Enough said. We first discovered the work of Katie 3 years ago when we launched La Luna Rose & havn't looked back. Her work is something so special & unique it's hard to forget once you come across her beautiful & colourful masterpieces!
Taking inspiration from the ocean, Katie works intuitively to merge the etheral and the everyday. "Her paintings seek to inform of the immensity and fragility of the underwater world, with a subtle layered fluidity defined by deliberate mark-making, intensity of colour, and dynamic, graphic forms representing reef, seamount, and shelf."
Katie also has stakes in the textile world, turning her colourful prints into cushions & rugs for the home, bringing her beautiful designs into even more living rooms!
Hailing from Melbourne & being represented worldwide, Katie's beautiful Paintings & Textiles are one to be sought after. Keep your eyes peeled for her colorful creations in stores across Australia.

To put it simply, they’re basically the same suburb only their split by ‘THE SHORTCUT’.
What’s the big deal you might say? There isn’t one really….. (Depending on who you talk to… and how many times they’ve had to ‘Cross the cut’ that day) but to fully enjoy your time on holiday, the least amount of moving around would be ideal, at least in Canggu anyway.
Creamy, chewy, healthy and yep you guessed it - DELICIOUS this Choc Cashew Slice is on high rotation in my freezer and a close runner up to my all-time-fave Snickers Slice that I shared earlier this month.
This Cashew based slice is so ridiculously easy to make, not to mention healthy, it's hard to pass up. I love having it on hand in the freezer for, well, myself but also a nice little treat when friends pop over. So, what are you waiting for? Time to get baking and find out why I'm raving on about it!
