FABRIC CARE : Rayon Linen

What is Rayon Linen fabric?

Rayon Linen fabric is a blend of linen and rayon, combining the fluid softness of rayon with the breathable, natural texture of linen. This fabric is appreciated for its relaxed elegance, offering a supple drape and a pleasant feel. It is often used for lightweight, airy garments, making it perfect for warm climates.

Linen is a natural fiber derived from the flax plant, known for its durability, breathability, and eco-friendly production process that requires minimal water and pesticides. Rayon, on the other hand, is a semi-synthetic fiber made from regenerated cellulose, typically sourced from wood pulp, such as bamboo, beech, or eucalyptus trees. This blend creates a fabric that is both comfortable, durable, and stylish, with a textured yet soft feel.

How to care for and wash Rayon Linen fabric?

To maintain the quality of Rayon Linen fabric, it is recommended to wash it by hand or in a washing machine on a gentle cycle at a low temperature. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach, as it can damage the fibers. For drying, air drying on a hanger or flat is best to prevent deformation. If wrinkles appear, iron at a low temperature with steam or use a steamer. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can weaken the fabric and alter its appearance. By following these care tips, your Rayon Linen garments will stay beautiful and comfortable for a long time.
