Natural Deodorising Room Spray
It's a time to stay home, stay clean & stay fresh. My mum has always been an avid user (and creator!) of natural sprays, body lotions, cremes, deoderants and laundry powder. When she sent me this Natural Deoderising Room Spray to make as a 'measure' to help keep the air fresh & clean through the Corona virus outbreak, I couldn't help but share it with you guys!
It's so easy to make, and not only does it smell lovely (Think a mixture of Cinnamon, Clove & Lemon) the Eucalyptus & Rosemary in it is known for it’s immune boosting, bacteria fighting qualities too! Perfect for a daily room cleanser.
Unsure of what Thieves oil is? This Oil actually dates back to the Middle Ages where thieves oil was said to keep a group of merchants safe from the Black Plague. The mixtures of antiseptic, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties were able to stave off the Plague and keep the merchants safe through such a dark & gloomy time. It seems we're almost re-living this today, time to bring it back!
RECIPE FOR NATURAL DEODORISING ROOM SPRAY
160ml Water
40ml Rose Water
2 tsp Vodka
10 drops of thieves oil
(If you also want to make your on thieves oil, here is a great recipe!)
Combine all ingredients together in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray until your hearts desire!
This can also be used to freshen counters, sinks, door handles, toilets etc. If you do make it, be sure to share a photo with us over on social media.
