Luna & Rose Sunseeker Charity T-shirt in Organic Cotton Organic Dye

We recently launched our new Charity Tee-shirts collection that support 3 incredible Non-profits doing amazing work to give back to the vulnerable communities of Indonesia. It’s extremely important to us to raise awareness about organizations doing good, and the ones we believe in and choose to support through Luna & Rose.

Our Sunseeker Tee-Shirtwill support the incredible work of Bali based non-profit, Feed Bali. Their mission is to keep the peace in Bali by providing the most in-need families with food sourced 100% by local Balinese farmers— all without anyone having to ask for help.

The main industry of Bali is tourism, and with the borders being closed since March, many families have found themselves below the poverty line with no government support, struggling to feed their families. By working with the leaders of each village, they identify the families hit hardest by COVID-19 related unemployment. Then deliver enough food to last each family 2 weeks. You can check out exactly how they do so here.

Each purchase of the Sunseeker Tee will donate a minimum of $25AUS to Feed Bali to help them feed those in need. This is enough to feed 1 family of 4 for 10 days! Can you imagine if we sold 100, 1000 T-Shirts what that would mean for these struggling communities over the coming months / years?

Luna & Rose Charity T-Shirt supporting Feed Bali Covid19 help

Oh and another awesome thing about these Charity Tee’s? While we’re raising awareness, we’re also saving the planet. These tee-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and dyed with plants: how amazing is that?! The beautiful buttercup colour of the Sunseeker Tee-Shirt is made from a mahogany mix with Ketapang leaves. You can find out more about how we plant dye by following us over on social media and keep an eye out for our new video that we recently shot at our Organic Dye factory!

We know that it’s tough to make a real change from afar and we also know that COVID-19 has effected millions of people across the globe. We truly hope this new collection of 4 Charity Tee-Shirts will bring a little positivity into people’s lives, both through supporting these struggling communities, supporting sustainably made and looking extra cute in your new Tee! You can also donate directly to Feed Bali via their website over here.
