In typical me style, we are off to Vietnam in just 2 days time and are still yet to book a something…anything…For our 10 day trip. If you know me, I’m quite confident that this will not surprise you. After a little last minute stress and a quick flick through the pages of air b n b, my anxiety has been put at bay. The accommodation on offer, served up by local Vietnamese hosts is next to nothing I’ve seen before. Team this with my love of Caffeine and Rice Paper Rolls and I couldn’t be more excited to jump on a plane and hit the streets of Vietnam later this week! With the launch of our new ‘Bon Voyage’ travel collection later this month, It felt only natural to get you Chica’s in the mood for a little travel adventure for yourself. Check out these super cute Air B n B’s located throughout Vietnam that I have found on my research - Did I mention they are all under $100?
While we’re not usually the biggest fans of apartment style housing (Give me grass any day!) this little slice of Saigon happiness has got me thinking otherwise. The private balcony that overlooks District 1’s busy alleyways is an attraction in itself. This apartment has been fitted out with the a very fine eye for detail and design, and no doubt will have you heading home and re-thinking your own home décor! Why we love this place? Location couldn’t be better and…..did we mention the outdoor shower? Talk about city living done well!
Price per night: $67
You can find this Apartment on Air bnb here.
While you may forget that you’re actually in one of South East Asia’s largest Cities and not in Sydney CBD, the killer views looking out across the Mekong Delta will bring you back to a bustling reality. While the apartment has been beautifully set up with all the mod-cons, the views from this apartment are really something to write home about. Loose your day getting lost watching the hustle and bustle of a city of 8.5 million people work their way up and down the river. It’s not hard to see why we love this place! They're also located a short 10 minute taxi ride to downtown District 1 area.
Price Per Night: $88
You can find this Riverside Beauty here.
I don’t know about you but when I was booking for Vietnam I didn’t think Icould be staying in something as cute (and as lush) as this for $80! Located in the small resort town of Mui Ne, 4.5 hours from Ho Chi Minh city, these Bungalows are situated 100m back from the Gold sand beach. They are also located only 2 minutes from the fresh fruit and vege market and 10 minutes to the local night life rave scene. There’s 3 of these cute as shit Bungalows so grab your pals and book a week away in Vietnamese paradise! Why we love this place? Location to the beach and outrageous amounts of Grass to play on - tick.
Price per night: $72
Drift away to Vietnam beachside Paradise here
Book a night or 2 here and you’ll probably be extending your trip to stay in stunning Saigon for longer that you had expected. The romance of the city starts here, entering the old colonial building through a shopping arcade downstairs before climbing up a set of rickety stairs to reach the character-filled apartment. Large white walls, minimalist art on the walls and large leafy plants make this place as homely as you may well find on Air B n B. Centrally located next to the famous Ben Thanh Market, this beautiful apartment serves perfectly for a romantic escape to the lively city of Saigon. Why we love this place? It’s the perfect slice of holiday luxe mashed together with the history of the beautiful city of Saigon.
Price per night: $67
Live like a (stylish) local in this super cute homestay located right in the hustle and bustle of Lacito in the Northern Vietnamese city of Hanoi. The Old Quarter was one of my absolute favourite areas in the whole of Vietnam on my last visit, so the location of this beautiful homestay right in the heart of this area has me sold! (And stoked not to have to go back to the outrageous party hostel of yester-uear that lured me in with cheap rooms and free drinks many moons ago!) Local street carts serving up Ice-Cold Vietnamese Coffee, beef noodles and fresh Pho are right on their doorstep making the location of this uber chic homestay perfectly suited to those coming to the country for a Street-Food Culinary experience (and who isn’t lets be honest!) $1 Pho anyone?
Price per night: $44

Although some of these listings may be seem to be lacking the ‘Authentic’ Vietnamese architecture or local vibe that one might expect on heading to South East Asia, all these homes are in fact proudly hosted by local Vietnamese folk who all seem too eager to lend a helping hand throughout your stay as well.
So folks, there’s still plenty of time. Who’s booking flights and coming with us this week!?
