Bali Best Eats: Uni Bowl Bali

Originally from Hawaii, Poke bowls have made their way across the world in no time. While there is no shortage of Poke Bowls in Bali, we are so excited to have recently discovered Uni Bowl near Seminyak!

Poke bowls are the perfect lunch fix, filling you up for your next surf session or your afternoon brainstorming ideas for your latest project. Now, you can find many different versions of the renowned poke bowl across the hip cafes in Bali. We recently tried the ones at Unibowl & absolutely loved them! 

Japanese inspired, Unibowl mix the classic Hawaiian ingredients with exotic delights such as wasabi, ginger, nori and miso. While their extensive menu might get you in a fluster of what to choose, I'm 99.9% sure you can't go wrong with any of them. Tried & tested by yours truly, we can definitely recommend the Salmon bowl, perfectly cooked to melt in your mouth by their head chef Marco. Mixed with avocado, cucumber, mushrooms and delicious soy and sesame dressing, The Salmon Poke gives you a whole new vision of the classic poke.... mmmmm

More of a Greens gal? We also loved the Vego Bowl and its miso marinated eggplant aubergine! Yep, we went hungry & also tried the Cauli Bowl which also has its own delicious twist thanks to the popcorn zucchini, pumpkin and pickled beetroot. I know, they're deliciously unique with their creative bowls here! More of a fussy eater? Uni bowl has you guys covered too with the option to build your own poke bowl with only the ingredients you enjoy! It seems like an incredibly difficult option to us as the entire menu looks insane but we love that they have this option too.

Every good bowl needs some liquid to wash it down and we loved the Berry Banger. These guys also offer a range of freshly blended juices from detoxifying to an immune booster...Healthy food much? (All the better to save those calories for sunset bintangs & cocktails...Just sayin'....) Last but certainly not least, we got a tip by the owner & head Pok Bowl maker that they will also deliver directly to your door!
